About Me

My name is Amanda and I am a senior at Penn State University studying hospitality management and minoring in entrepreneurship and innovation. I love to bake and can’t wait to share my amazing cookies with you all.
My dad’s favorite dessert is chocolate chip cookies. Therefore, whenever I asked my family what dessert I should make, he would always say chocolate chip cookies. So over the past few years I baked thousands of chocolate chip cookies, continuing to tweak and perfect my recipe.
Not only did my family love these cookies, but my friends fell in love with them too. I knew that I need to share my cookies with the world.
Before I launched Fat Dog Cookie, I was casually baking these cookies for family and friends when we were all home during the Covid pandemic. I baked hundreds of cookies and donated many to a local organization that helped the homeless. The organizations told me that people would always look forward to my delicious cookies and the cookies would make their day.
